I upgraded my council house kitchen using B&M bargains to give it a new ‘concrete’ look – people say I shape shifted it
A WOMAN has shown how she completely transformed her council house kitchen using just bargains from B&M.
GG, 23, took to TikTok to share a video which kicked off with a look at her kitchen the way it was.
As well as light wooden cabinets, there were yellow tiles on the wall, which GG admitted she “hated”.
So she used stick on tiles from B&M to cover them completely.
To add to the all-grey appearance of the kitchen, she used stick on vinyl from B&Q to cover the cupboard fronts.
She also used vinyl to cover up the black worktops.
“Final results,” she said, showing off her new-look kitchen.
“Small changes make big improvements.”
“B&m bargains doing bits,” she added in her caption.
And the comments section was quickly filled with people praising her for the budget transformation.
“Great job, looks so much better,” one wrote.
“Wanna come and do mine?” another cheekily asked.
“this is amazing from what it used to look like,” a third commented.
“Love the concrete look…I run a kitchen wrapping company and the concrete is very on trend at the moment!” someone else wrote.
“Looks great!! I wanna shape shift my own kitchen,” another said.
Someone else asked GG how much she’d spent on the makeover, to which she replied: “£130..the tile packs were the most expensive.
“Could’ve probably done it much cheaper if I bought the materials from Amazon or something.”
She also revealed that she’d used “10 packs of five tiles” each, with each pack costing £10.
“Now that’s a kitchen to be proud of! Well done beaut!” someone else praised.
As another wrote: “Not my personal style but I still think it looks amazing for what you were working with and that you’ve done it all yourself!”
