Unforgotten fans all have the same complaint after ‘laughable’ identity reveal twist
UNFORGOTTEN fans all have the same complaint after a ‘laughable’ identity reveal twist.
The fifth series of the hit crime show is currently airing on ITV1 and on ITVX.
It sees Detectives Cassie Stuart and Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan attempt to solve a series of cold cases involving murders and disappearances.
And in the third episode fans couldn’t contain their laughter after Sunny was apparently given a new identity.
The character, played by Sanjeev Bhaskar, was sent to Paris as part of an ongoing investigation.
As the episode ended and he was on the phone, a driver could be seen waiting to pick him up.
However, the chauffeur mixed up his name and held up a sign which read ‘Sunny Calm’ instead of ‘Khan’.
Viewers at home were in hysterics over the blunder as one tweeted: “Laughing at Mr Sunny Calm on #Unforgotten.”
A second said: “Sunny Calm haha how do you do Mr Calm.”
“Love how Sunny got to Paris and the sign said Sunny Calm,” commented a third.
While a fourth said: “Sunny Calm is definitely his porn name.”
Meanwhile, Sinéad Keenan has taken over from Nicola Walker to play DCI Jessica James.
She is an Irish actress with a wide range of television, film and stage credits.
Sinéad is best known for Little Boy Blue (2017), Doctor Who (2005) and Being Human (2008).
