But nothing quite compares to the money one woman forks out to keep her luscious locks looking on point…as she travels all the way to Turkey to get her hair extensions done.
In a video shared online, the 36-year-old mum-of-two, who posts under the TikTok handle @s_kirmani, can be seen at the hairdressers in Istanbul.
She explains how she paid almost £600 ($700USD) for a cut, colour, hair, installation, and keratin treatment.
Delighted with the results, she captioned the post: “Getting my extensions done in Turkey going back soon – literally the best extensions I’ve ever had.”
The video has since gone viral, racking up over 522k views online – with very mixed reviews.
“I thought travelling from Surrey to Kent was far for extensions Jesus,” wrote one.
