I’ve been training my face so I have dimples when I smile – trolls call me vain, but it’s so worth it
ONE woman has claimed she’s managed to train her face to develop dimples – using her own bizarre invention.
Preety, known on TikTok as @xpreetyy, created metallic hooks with marble-like balls on each side – to place half in and half out of the mouth.
The tool appears to compress part of the cheek in order to create the dimples. It seems she’s been using them for several months with the hope that the dimples will become a permanent feature of her face.
Sharing an update with her 23.3k followers, the brunette beauty posted a clip of herself taking the metallic clips out.
She then appeared outside where Preety smiled in the sun to show off her newly-formed dimpled cheeks.
Despite clearly being pleased with the results, people were left divided on what she’d managed to accomplish.
“Why do ppl hate sm it’s the same as getting lip fillers or botox,” one person said in her defence, to which she replied: “Bc this is something not a lot of ppl know. Ppl don’t rlly like knew things,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Another begged her to “be urself,” but she immediately hit back by explaining that she is and is simply “sharing my results”.
“Can’t believe how vain people can be,” a third posted.
Meanwhile, others were a little more positive about her journey as one person wrote: “Dimples are so cute. I get, that some women choose to create fake ones. How long did it take, before you saw any progress? UR def. On UR way”.
While many people were left questioning where she got the tools from, to which she responded by directing people to the link in her bio.
The link takes people directly to an Etsy page, where the item is sold out after 106 people purchased a set of the dimple makers for €14, which is approximately £12.32.
And it appears to be a hit already as it’s received five star reviews, with one person writing: “This is super cute, I first found the seller on TT and had to copy!! And my order came with a freebie too, thanks girl!”
