I’m a hatfish – people tell me I look so much better with my hat on but age 50 years when they see my hair

A MAN has hit back at haters after being labelled a “hatfish” because he looks so different without his beloved cap on.

Former baseball player Carmine Fanelli took to his TikTok page to share a video of himself showing off his new hat, which sent people running to the comments section.

“Damn the hatfishing!!!!!” one wrote.

“You look 40 and 20 at the same time and i love it,” another added.

“How old is he really? I’m confused,” a third commented.

He then responded to the hatfishing accusations in another video, as he said: “People tell me, ‘Oh, by wearing a hat you’re going to go bald soon’.

“Well I think I’m doing alright. I’ve been wearing a hat for 30 something years now and my hair ain’t that bad.”

But those in the comments section insisted he’d aged decades when he took his hat off because his receding hairline is so bad.

“Went from 26 to 51!” one wrote.

“60% is missing sir,” another added.

“It’s bad bro, real bad,” a third commented.

As someone else urged him to “get a hair transplant”.

And others insisted it’s all about how he wears the hat – with one direction looking miles better than the other.

“You looked 50 years older when you turned the cap the right way round ngl,” one wrote.

“Nooo wear it backwards,” another added.

“Or just keep that s**t backwards,” a third commented.

As someone else questioned: “How y’all wear it right backwards but floating forwards?”
