Neighbours of Jeremy Clarkson unite to BACK his plans for new car park near Diddly Squat Farm
SCHOOL-run parents are backing Jeremy Clarkson’s plans for a farm shop car park — to stop tourists putting children at risk.
They say it will help ease dangerous congestion near Diddly Squat Farm, featured in his hit Amazon Prime series.
Residents in Chadlington, Oxon, say visitors parking on both verges leave them nowhere to go.
One mum said: “Last week a minibus drove around a coach and I had to drive into the hedge to avoid a head-on.
“My children were shaken up.
“Mr Clarkson needs permission.”
Another said: “I’ve stopped many times as people have swung open car doors.
“Others just walk into the road.”
Jeremy, 62, wants to turn a field into temporary parking for 70 cars.
Councillors refused his previous proposal saying it would have been visually intrusive.
