Woman spots secret sign a mega Next sale is on the way… and you can already tell which prices are being slashed
A MUM has shared the secret sign she spotted in Next to show a big sale was soon on the way.
The fashion fan who goes by the name @monthofsunday shared her find in a TikTok video online.
“Wow so today I nearly got robbed, just about but my eyesight did not fail me.”
She asked: “Why did I catch these little written signs on the label of the clothes in Next?”
The mum said she had spotted a dress for her daughter whilst browsing in next and decided she wanted to buy it.
She said: “I saw this little dress for my daughter and I was like oh how much is that £24.”
But then the savvy shopper turned the label around and spotted different price on the back.
She said: “Oh what’s on the other side and then it said £12.50.”
The Next fan realised the numbers on the back of the label indicated the price of the dress would be going down once the next sale started.
“I was like okay…. So I think this means a Next sale is going to be happening.”
“And this also means I’m not prepared to spend that amount of money on something that is going to be half price in around three days.”
The mum went to speak to a customer service representative to find out more information.

“So I went over to their customer service to ask what’s going on? Like when the sale started.”
The sales assistant confirmed the mum’s suspicions but also said the sale had already started online.
“She online it’s already started. But there’ll be more lines added.”
The savvy shopper confessed she was very excited for the sale
She said: “I’m so excited I thought I would share it with you guys. I love the next sale.”
She joked: “Might just be the mum camping outside.”
One user claimed the fashion fan should go back and demand the items of the sale prices she saw listed.
They said: “I used to work next – if those tags have the marked down price written and you ask them to sell it at that price, they will have to honour it.”
One user said: “I never shop next unless the sale gets sick of paying full price and then it going 50% off a few days later.”
