I bought Mrs Hinch’s Tesco bedding set and I feel robbed – it’s absolutely nothing like the picture
WE all love a bit of Mrs Hinch magic in our lives but one shopper claims she’s been left disappointed after buying the cleaning sensation’s popular duvet set from her latest range in Tesco.
Lucy Morgan bought the Hinch Oversized Seersucker White Double duvet set after popping to her local supermarket and thought she’s bagged a bargain in the reduced to clear sale.
Showing off her buy to her TikTok followers Lucy said: “So I went to Tesco today and saw this.
“I thought what an absolute bargain double, reduced to £18, reduced to clear.”
But Lucy claimed her set didn’t look like the picture on the front of the packet.
She said: “I thought right, I’ll get that and I’ll put it on my bed and it looks nothing like it.”
“This is what I brought and this is what it looks like. Mrs Hinch what the hell?”
The shopper even made a joke saying she felt like she’d been robbed.
She said: “Tesco you robbed me.”
But it seems that Lucy may have made a slight mistake as eagle-eyed Hinch fans have spotted she could have put the bedding on inside out.

One user commented: “I have similar bedding and you need to put the inside of your duvet cover on the outside.”
Lucy replied: “Inside out? I didn’t think so but omg you’re a lifesaver I will try it.”
The cotton rich set, designed by Mrs Hinch – whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe – comes with a duvet and two pillowcases.
Describing the set Tesco say : “This all over seersucker design oozes elegance and is perfect for adding texture to your space.”
“Simplistic and versatile to fit both contemporary and modern spaces. An on-trend and timeless design which requires minimal ironing.”
The supermarket clarifies in their product description the item should be washed before use and ironed when damp, so maybe this could have been Lucy’s mistake too?
Mrs Hinch fans have been scrambling to get their hands on the bedding when it first dropped in price.
One shopper said they found the duvet set for in their local Tesco for just £6.50 instead of the original retail price of £26.
Now the set is sold out online in both double and king sizes.
