My high school crush was so cruel when he rejected me – now he’s asking me on a date after I lost 100 lbs
A HEALTH enthusiast has shared the downside of her impressive 100 pound weight loss.
She said after her fitness glow-up, she encountered some issues with her dating life.
Caroline (@consistentlycaroline) detailed the cruel way she was rejected prior to weight loss and how she is dealing with it now.
“Dating after losing 100 pounds,” she titled the video.
“Whenever I meet someone whether it’s in-person, online, whatever, I wonder if they would have liked me before,” she said.
She took it a step further, suggesting that people are nicer to her post-weight loss.
“I wonder if they would have even been nice to me before,” she added.
Caroline detailed an unrequited romance from her high school days.
“When I was in high school I had this crush on a guy and he rejected me so hard and he was so cruel about it.
“And there’s nothing new there. That’s how all the guys were when they found out that I liked them in high school, that’s how it went.”
However, Caroline said her high school crush has a suspicious change of heart recently.
“This guy actually reached out a couple weeks ago wanting to take me out,” she said.
She had a message for the burnt out flame: “Maybe if you’d have been nicer.”
She said although she may look different these days, her soul is still the same.
“I’m still that girl and I remember,” she said.
The video came as part of a TikTok trend of women sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly of their weight loss journeys.
