I got married in my garden to save cash – the whole day was under £1.5k and my dress was £78 from Amazon
A WOMAN has revealed that she got married on the cheap and to cut costs, held the big day in her garden and bought a budget dress.
Amber Dupree explained that she had a “backyard wedding”, costing her under $2,000 [£1,570].
She also claimed that her beautiful wedding dress was less than $100 [£78] from Amazon.
Amber took to TikTok to share a clip of her romantic wedding, as she said: “POV: You have a backyard wedding for under $2k because marrying your best friend is all that matters to you.”
In the clip, we saw Amber walk down the aisle in her garden, as her friends and family sat smiling.
She looked radiant, with her hair perfectly styled and her make-up totally flawless.
The bride held a large floral bouquet, whilst wearing her lace, floor length gown.
She beamed as she got to the end of the aisle, and stopped to say hi to her son.
She then reached her husband-to-be, who looked dapper in an all black look.
Amber’s clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 628,100 views.
It has 34.7k likes, 415 comments, 932 saves and 698 shares.
Social media users were stunned at the intimate wedding and many were eager to reflect this in the comments.

At the same time, many other brides took to the comments to open up about their budget weddings.
One woman explained: “That was me this weekend! $40 dress, dollar tree decorations friends put together, a cute potluck style reception, and all the love, it was perfect!”
