A PLUS size fashion fan hit back at mean trolls after showing off her new bikini.
Jodie Merritt, from the UK, took to TikTok to show off her bold pink and black leopard print bikini ready to hit the pool this summer.
The red-head beauty, who is also a witch, regularly shares plus-size fashion content and body-positive content on social media.
In her bio, Jodie writes: “My big fat life because fat people are allowed on the internet too!”
Showing off her bikini for summer, she wrote: “POV – When the fat girl turns up at the swimming pool in a bikini.
She used the Taylor Swift song Speak Now, over the video, with the lyrics saying ‘horrified looks from everyone in the room.’
“Wear the bikini, go for the swim. Forget what other people think,” Jodie captioned the post.
The video has since gone viral with over 48k views and over 1,000 likes.
Many people praised Jodie for wearing the bikini, but there were some meanies in the comment.
One remarked: “Bikini or a pile of luandry.”
But Jodie wasn’t having it and hit back at the meanie in a separate video posted to her account @jodiesbigfatlife.
She retorted: “Wow. While you laugh at the fat girl in the bikini, the fat girl laughs at you because you tried to insult her, and you can’t even spell laundry. Oopsie.”
There were plenty of others who praised Jodie for not letting haters stop her form wearing what she wanted.
One person wrote: “You go girl.”
Another commented: “Looking fab!”
“I love it,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “You are STUNNING.”
