Guy gets utterly shamed by his own mum for not being the ‘cool dad’ and people are all saying the same thing

A MAN has been brutally shamed by his mum for not being the ‘cool dad’ she thought he would – and all because he wouldn’t give his daughter another snack. 

It’s common knowledge that after having kids, you become second best to your offspring in the eyes of your parents. 

But Zach was left stunned after his mother sided with his daughter after he refused to give her another snack. 

And his mum didn’t hold back, even going on to suggest she was disappointed with his decision to not be the ‘cool dad’. 

Now people are rushing to praise his mum – and have even labelled her their ‘role model’. 

Zach said: “My daughter called my mom crying because I wouldn’t give her another snack…”

During the 30-second TikTok reel, Zach revealed the conversation he had with his mum after hearing her granddaughter’s side of the story. 

She wrote: “Why did my granddaughter just call me crying?”

Zach replied: “Because I told her she couldn’t have another snack.”

His mum responded: “Zachary, she said she’s starving. She said all she wants you to do is peel her an orange.”

“Mom, I gave her three oranges tonight. She needs to go to bed,” the dad revealed. 

The doting grandmother came back with: “You know you’re not the cool Dad I thought you would be.”

“Because I won’t peel a 4th orange?” questioned Zach. 

“You better peel those oranges until your f****** cuticles fall off for my precious granddaughter,” insisted his mum. 

The interaction attracted plenty of attention online, gaining more than 186,700 likes and 3.5 million views. 

Below the video, Zach confirmed he did in fact follow his mum’s instructions, adding: “I did, in fact, get to peeling.”

Known online as @zachbertolozzim the content creator regularly shares parenting tips and life updates with his 457,000 followers. 

In the comments, TikTokkers shared their reactions, with one writing: “I can’t wait to be a grandma! This lady is going to be my role model!”

“We grandparents are a different breed we mean what we say,” suggested another. 

A third added: “Get your mum on here she is a legend.”

Someone else put: “Priceless.”

Although not all were fans of her helicopter grandparenting, with another commenting: “Nah. I don’t like those sort of grandparents.”
