A MASSIVE Channel 4 dating show is set to return to screens – and bosses are on the hunt for Scottish contestants.

First Dates is a show where singletons get paired up with a blind date in a bid to find love.

And the popular series is inviting Scots to apply for the position of potential paramour in season 16.

The latest season features a big shake up, as the show is moving from being hosted in Manchester to a brand new city as Channel 4 bosses celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the show.

A casting agent took to social media today asking men in Glasgow if they are looking for love and would be interested in joining the show.

He wrote: “Hi guys, I’m currently casting First Dates on Channel 4.

“It’s our special 10th anniversary series and we’re keen for some Scottish representation (particularly men!) so I thought I’d see if any Shawlands locals are looking for love?

“Maybe Fred and the team can find your dream partner.”

Fred Sirieix previously shared his excitement for the change of location to a city the host called ‘exciting and rebellious’.

The 51-year-old also teased a new ‘twist’ to the Channel 4 dating show.

He told the Scottish Sun: “So for the next show we are moving.

“I can’t tell you too much but it’s a different restaurant and a different city in the UK. I love this city by the way. It’s a very exciting and rebellious city.

“We are interviewing new staff at the moment. It’s the 10 year anniversary series so it’s a bit more of the same, but with a slight twist.

“It’s very exciting – we are all super excited. You will just have to see it.”

Potential Scottish daters are asked to fill out an application form on the casting website.

In it they are asked about their relationship history, personalities, career, body type, and sexuality among other things.
