I learnt from my epic Temu fails – what you should never get sucked into buying and a cleaning trick that just stank
MOST of us have seen the ads on new brand Temu but many are still wondering if the online shopping mega store is worth the hype.
With super low prices, it can be tempting to fill up a cart, but in the current cost of living crisis no one can afford to waste even a few quid.
One shopping fan decided to come clean about the worst things she ordered from Temu.
The content creator who goes by @justanothernurse1 shares regular Temu and Amazon finds, but this time decided to let viewers know what they shouldn’t buy.
She said in a TikTok video: “They’re not all winners. Sometimes we have to live and learn. But let me prepare you for things you should not buy off Temu you, because they sucked.”
Said: “Number one. This keyboard cleaner.”
The £1.50 keyboard cleaner is also supposed to be ideal for cleaning your car vents as well as other hard to reach places.
But the creator explained however the deal was too good to be true.
She said: “This smelled so gross, and it felt like old slime. And then when I tried to use it, it did not do that, and it picked up nothing.”
“So strongly discouraging me from getting this keyboard cleaner.”
Fashion fans may not be pleased to hear the the savvy shopper believes bags on Temu are a hit or miss.
She said: “I’ve gotten a lot of good hits on the purses, but this one. This is a no.”

The fashion fan bought a crocodile patterned fanny pan for £5.50.
She said: “It looks really cute, and it’s possibly passable, but that gold chain right there is the cheapest plastic I’ve ever seen on a purse.”
The savvy shopper explained the quality of the purse was poor especially up close.
“From far away, it looks good, but if you’re looking for some quality purses, I would go with a different option.”
The gadget fan also admitted she purchased a phone holder designed to hold and protect your phone whilst you are in the shower.
She asked: “Why did I buy this? It literally says waterproof. Lazy mobile phone.”
For less than £3, you would think it would be hard to feel like you had been ripped off but that is exactly how the creator felt.
She said: “First off, it was not retractable. It only came with this outer shell. And then I couldn’t figure out how to actually stick it to my shower and so I just ended up throwing it away.”
The creator also said she bought some toys for her son but even she couldn’t figure out how to put them together.
The mum said: “They were so small. And they were so difficult to put together. The instructions were terrible. They did turn out cute once I did put them together, but my kid who is 6, could not do it. I had to do it.”
