Bitter feud between Dancing On Ice star and pro skater’s girlfriend set to make latest series the frostiest ever
DANCING On Ice bosses face their frostiest series yet amid a feud between contestant Hannah Spearritt and her fellow S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens.
Rachel is likely to be in the studio supporting boyfriend and pro skater Brendyn Hatfield, her partner in 2022.
Hannah, 42, will be skating with pro Andy Buchanan when the ITV1 contest kicks off on January 14.
She and Rachel are said to have a long-standing beef that is unlikely to thaw any time soon.
A TV insider told The Sun: “Falling on the ice is going to feel warm and painless compared to the cold front that will envelop Dancing On Ice if their paths cross.
“The best hope is that Hannah and Rachel are kept apart. But given the series lasts for two months and they could both be in the studio at the same time, that’s not going to be easy.”
It was revealed in September that show bosses had signed up Hannah, who was in S Club 7 from the group’s formation in 1997 to its break-up in 2003.
Last year, the band reformed without Hannah, who was also devastated by the death of S Clubber Paul Cattermole, 46, in April 2023.
The pair had been in a relationship from 2001 to 2006.
Meanwhile, it was also revealed last year that Rachel, 45, was dating Brendyn, 38, months after the end of her marriage to Alex Bourne, dad to her two children.
This year Brendyn will be partnered on the rink with comic and actress Lou Sanders.
Dancing On Ice declined to comment on Hannah and Rachel.
