It’s freezing and my heaters are broken, my house was 55F before a purchase – people say it’s so cheap they run it 24/7
A WINTER-READY woman has revealed her best purchase for staying warm.
She said her home temperature dropped to 55 degrees Fahrenheit before finding the cost-effective solution.
Sarah Bee (@beesarahbeee) filmed herself setting up the purchase in a video on TikTok.
“It is freezing here in Christchurch at the moment and both of my heat pumps are broken. So to keep warm, I’ve been sleeping with my electric blanket on,” she said.
“But the other day I accidentally left it on all day and I got home and it scared me so much,” she added.
After the scare, she looked at her dog Scooby and took him to the store to purchase a different solution — two smart panel heaters.
“I thought it would make waking up earlier a bit easier if I put one in my bedroom room. So that’s where I put the first one,” she said.
“I put the entire day aside to install it, but it actually only took under 20 minutes, so it was way easier than I expected,” she added.
She revealed that the heating panels are easily controlled on-the-go with an app.
“Once it was fixed to the wall, I downloaded the app, which can control the temperature, how long it’s on for,” she said.
“You can even use it just to double check it’s turned off. Or you can even just log on and make sure it’s turned on for when you get home.
“I ended up keeping the second one on wheels so I can take it around the house with me while I renovate and this has been so good so far.
“I feel like I just get so much more done now that I’m warm,” she added.
She said her only regret about the heating panels is not buying them sooner.
“I have finally solved my heating problem,” she said. “This was such an easy and affordable solution, I wish I had done it sooner.”
The product is called the Bonaire 2000W Electric Panel Heater With Wi-Fi from Bunning’s, retailing for $221.07.
One viewer said the product is so cheap, she keeps it on day and night, commenting: “This is the best heater I’ve ever owned and its so cheap to run. Mine is on 24/7 since having my newborn. So good.”
