SAVING loads on your next load of laundry has never been easier.

This sorceress’ magic mixture was the stuff detergent deal dreams are made of.

“DIY laundry detergent – good for 1,000 loads of laundry at $30. One thousand loads of name brand runs you about $140,” said Helen (@appalachian_g).

According to her calculations, that meant a savings of $120 – and that wasn’t the only perk.

Her concoction consisted of a box of Borax, followed by a box of Arm and Hammer laundry booster.

She then added four pounds of pure baking soda to her budget brew before dumping in a whole container of Oxiclean with odor blasters.

Helen’s purple Arm and Hammer scent boosters even added a burst of color to the money-saving mix.

She also explained that any booster brand would do the same cleaning trick.

“Mixy mix,” she said as she used her hands to make sure all of the products were evenly distributed.

And saving money wasn’t even the best part.

“It smells so good,” Helen explained.

She then mixed in one whole grated bar of white Zote along with one-half of the pink version.

With just one tablespoon of her homemade detergent needed per load, she could already see – and smell – the savings.

And other budgeters were eager to get on the bandwagon.

“I’m going to try this, thank you,” said one enthused follower.

Another viewer was already in on the great-smelling secret.

“I use one-fourth cup for every load. Our clothes feel so good! 10/10 recommend!” she said.

The cheapest item in her cost-cutting concoction was the Zote bars which sold for $1.62 each at Walmart.

The affordable item had tons of positive reviews, mostly because of its versatility.

“Zote is one of those old-school products that has been around for a while for a reason! It is the superior cleaner and for more than just laundry!” wrote one pleased purchaser.

“I have used this soap for so many things. We use it after we cut it down at our kitchen and bathroom sink, we use it to make buckets of soapy water to wash the floors.

“And I know that it can be grated up for laundry cleaning also. Definitely impressed and I love the price! Definitely buy this on a regular basis!” exclaimed this enthused Zote devotee.
