Who is David Soul’s wife, Helen Snell?

ON Friday, January 5, 2024, it was revealed Starsky and Hutch actor David Soul had died at 80 years old.

Survived by the actor is his wife Helen Snell and here’s everything to know about them.

Who was David Soul?

David Soul was an American-British actor and singer born on August 28, 1943.

Soul got his first acting role in 1967 when he appeared on the TV series Flipper as Dennis Blake.

In 1968, Soul landed his first gig as a series regular as Joshua Bolt in Here Comes the Brides.

However, it wasn’t until 1975, that Soul broke out into the industry when he landed the lead role as Hutch in the TV series, Starsky and Hutch.

The show ran until 1979. In 2004, Soul reprised his role in the movie remake of the same name starring Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller as the new Starsky and Hutch.

The actor went on to appear in an array of films with his last acting credit being the 2013 film, Filth.

On January 5, 2023, Soul’s wife Helen Snell revealed the famed actor passed away the day prior.

In a heartbreaking statement, Snell said: “”David Soul – beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother – died yesterday after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family.

“He shared many extraordinary gifts in the world as actor, singer, storyteller, creative artist and dear friend.

“His smile, laughter and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched.”
