‘Stunning’ Aldi candles are dupes of the designer Tom Ford versions and cost just £3.99
THOUGH the nights are slowly getting lighter, but sadly it’s still pretty miserable.
If you still aren’t brave enough to go outside, Aldi have the perfect candle to keep your home feeling cosy and it is a dupe of a stunning designer scent.
The German supermarket will be restocking it’s dupes this weekend[/caption]In all the chaos of the festive season, it was easy to miss this low cost candle – especially with so many SpecialBuys in the middle aisle.
However, fans of the German supermarket quickly took to Tiktok and shared their excitement about the new home wear in December.
Whilst Aldi’s Crushed Peach may just look like a run-of-the-mill scented candle, eagled eyed shopper claim that it smells almost identical to Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach.
Just like the designer scent, the supermarket alternative has fruit notes of peach and orange which is perfect for spring.
The dupe even comes with virtually identical packaging and has the same salmon coloured wax, which is incredible considering that it is nearly £100 cheaper.
Though the high end version costs a staggering £98, Aldi’s alternative is just £3.99 and can be picked up alongside your favourite groceries.
For those that haven’t done the maths, that is a saving of over £94 which will definitely come in hand after Christmas.
Just like dupes for other Tom Ford scents, including Lost Cherry and Rose Prick, the candle has already sold out online.
If you don’t fancy rummaging through the middle aisle, there are plenty of other dupes which will be hitting shelves this weekend.
As Aldi restocks after the winter break, the retailer has a new range of candles and reed diffusers.
Despite them not being on the shelves yet, fans are already claiming that the new range has multiple dupes for scent from Rituals.
In a viral video, perfume expert and Tiktoker @dontmesswiththedupes says that the supermarket’s Clean scent is a copy of the pricy Cotton Blossom diffuser (£57.90)
With similar notes of orange blossom and berries, it is not surprising that shoppers are making the switch as the Aldi alternative cost just £2.99.
You can also choose from a candle or a reed diffuser, meaning you have plenty of ways to leave your home smelling heavenly.
There is also a dupe for Ritual’s Sweet Jasmin candle (£40.90), which should also be hitting shelves this Sunday (January 7).
Just like the high end alternative, Aldi’s Fresh (£2.99) has notes of apple leaf mixed with jasmine and comes as either a diffuser or candle.
If you are still looking to recharge after Christmas, the supermarket’s Calm fragrance will be perfect for you.
Said to be virtually identical to Ritual’s Smooth Violet scent (£57.90), the relaxing diffuser has camomile, musk and vanilla notes but is currently £2.99.
For those who weren’t already sold, you could save as much as £50 per candle just by making the switch to the German supermarket’s version.
Seems a good excuse to nip in and grab some groceries at the same time.
Some of the new candles are also are odour eliminating meaning your home can smeell great no matter what is on the menu.[/caption]
