Golden Globes 2024 LIVE updates — Taylor Swift nominated for new award as stars arrive on the red carpet – how to watch

THE 2024 Golden Globes are upon us – and there are some new awards in the mix.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards will be hosted by comedian Jo Koy at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California.

There are two new award categories this year: one for cinematic and box office achievement and another for best performance by a stand-up comic on television.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is nominated for the former, and Swift is expected to attend tonight’s ceremony without her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

The new categories aren’t the only change to tonight’s three-hour event, as the annual ceremony is being broadcast on CBS after moving from its longtime home of NBC.

After the red carpet kicks off at 6:30, tonight’s ceremony airs live at 8 pm ET on CBS. The show will also be available to stream live on Paramount+ with Showtime.
