Spray tan artist slammed after giving a client fake abs – people say it looks ‘bad’ & she should ‘go to the gym’ instead
A BEAUTY whizz has found herself brutally mocked after giving her client a toned body and fake abs using spray tan.
It’s the New Year and if you’re anything like us, the team at Fabulous, you’ve probably made a resolution to hit the gym more, whether that’s upping your cardio game or joining the weightlifting crew.
But what if you could achieve a toned figure and enviable abs without lifting a finger or counting calories?
Well, according to one beauty pro, only known as @summerglowtanning on TikTok, that’s possible… with a quick visit to the tanning shop.
The stunner, from California, the USA, first started learning everything about spray tan in 2020 ”to make a little extra money” and has since ‘transformed’ dozens of bodies.
However, in a recent clip shared on social media, the whizz revealed how she cleverly applied the tanning solution to give an illusion of rock-hard abs and a sculpted face.
The video, which has since racked up more than 700k views in just two days, sees the slim client suck in her cheeks before the pro goes over with the tanning gun.
As well as leaving her with chiseled cheekbones, the California-based expert also sprayed the product around her collar bones and chest in an attempt to make her boobs appear fuller.
With the client’s abs sucked it, she then moved onto contouring the stomach area, leaving the woman with a defined four-pack.
All chuffed with the results, the whizz wrote in the caption: ”I love being a (spray tan) artist!!
”This was my first ever full body contour on a model after taking an online master certification course which also covered the art of contour spray tanning.”
She went on: ”I’ll soon be including it as an add-on service to all of my spray tans. Stay tuned for the evolution.”
However, whilst the two might have been pleased with the outcome, not everyone was a fan, as dozens raced to comments in sheer horror.
One said: ”It looks so bad.”
Someone else agreed, urging: ”Just go gym.”
”You’re joking right? This is insane,” penned another, adding that it was not ”meant as a compliment”.
”Sorry, but you can see it straight away,” a fourth chimed in, explaining it looked ”unrealistic”.
But there was also heaps of support, particularly from those who weren’t too keen to fork out for a gym membership.
”This is amazing!” a fan hit back at the meanies.
”I would absolutely get a spray tan if I could get this!” a fellow beauty lover said.
The tanning whizz is yet to share a response to all of her haters.
