Already rehearsing for the next set of comedy gigs, Peter was spotted appearing dramatically different as he took a break backstage.

He nipped outside in a black beanie hat and matching dark hoodie, paired with black trousers and shoes.

The Max and Paddy and Car Share actor chatted to staff at the North Greenwich venue.

The signature grin of the Bolton-born star remained, as he appeared deep in discussion while opening a gadget for his phone.

The star, who has looked noticeably slimmer in recent years, then made his way to his tour bus and hopped aboard.

Peter’s huge comeback came to the fore last year when he announced more than 100 live stand-up dates.

In 2023, he was seen with another TV icon, Susan Boyle, backstage at his Glasgow gig.

She ended up being part of the show that night when audience members revealed the crowd began chanting “SuBo”.

Meanwhile, his tour kicked off in December 2022 at Manchester Arena.

It runs over three years and ends in December 2025 and sees Peter visit a number of cities including Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle and Nottingham.

The comedian also has shows in BelfastGlasgow, and Cardiff.

He also performs at The O2 Arena once a month and is the first comedian to be given his own residency at the venue, which has a capacity of 20,000.

Peter was due to embark on a series of shows back in 2017 before cancelling due to unforeseen family circumstances.

Since then he has remained away from the spotlight but has made some surprise performances at small shows and charity events.
