In a recent video, the single mum – who boasts almost 500,000 followers – wanted to give her cheekbones and face more definition.

So she was excited to try Forever Sunday’s new £16.95 semi permanant contour stick which has become a viral sensation on TikTok with beauty influencers.

Describing their “world first” product online, fake tan bosses said: “Be the envy of everyone and supercharge your makeup routine with flawlessly sculpted cheeks, brow bones, and contour areas.

“Perfect for under makeup or if you prefer a ‘No Makeup, Makeup look,’ try Sculptan on its own.”

But 33-year-old nurse Kerri admitted she had “a bit of a nightmare” when trying it for herself.

Left with thick, unblended dark lines all over her face, she said: “I might have made a mistake.

“How possibly could it not be budging already? Nah, I need to wash this off.”

Kerri had dotted the fake tan on her usual contour areas – cheekbones, forehead, nose and lip line – before trying to blend it in with a brush.

But the mum was horrified to discover it had already dried in and wouldn’t budge.

“It’s not very blendable is it? It’s not blending. It’s not blending”, she screamed.

“I’ve put it all over my face. That can’t have stained my skin already.”

Kerri added some oil to her face in a bid to remove some of the excess and blend it into her skin.

But it proved useless as she added: “Mate, that s***’s not coming off.”

And even cleanser struggled to remove the product, with the beauty fan scrubbing her face to no avail.

“Oh my god I’m panicking. I’m going to a log cabin tomorrow”, she said.

“Please come off, please come off.

“It isn’t even funny.

“I’m so sorry to the brand but I don’t understand how this can work.

“I want to give it another go but I’m obviously doing something wrong.”

It was only after using a tan remover the next morning that Kerri was able to get her face back to normal.

And while she was left in a panic by her beauty mishap, other social media users have been loving it with her clip racking up 17,000 views.

One said: “I’m howling. This is something that would happen to me.”

A second wrote: “What an honest review. Sorry but too funny, can’t stop laughing.”

And a third added: “This had me in stitches. The panic on your face when it didn’t come off.”

Others, meanwhile, offered up some tips for giving the hack a second go.

“You have to apply it bit by bit and blend each section as you do it”, said one.

A second echoed: “I think you’re supposed to do it in sections or it will dry by time you get to other side.”
