Selena Gomez finally reveals the secret gossip she told Taylor Swift as fans insist she was slamming rival Kylie Jenner
SELENA Gomez has responded to fan belief that she was slamming rival Kylie Jenner.
On Sunday, the Only Murders In the Building actress attended the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
During a break, Selena, 31, was spotted talking to Taylor Swift, 34, and Miles Teller‘s wife, Keleigh Sperry, 31, and their topic of conversation seemed quite juicy.
The pop music singer commented on an Instagram post questioning if she was talking about Kylie, 26, and her boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet, 28 – who made a rare appearance together at the award show.
Selena replied: “Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone business.”

As the camera was on the trio, a stunned Taylor could be seen gasping at what Selena was telling her.
Keleigh also sat back in shock and gasped at the revelation.
While there was no sound on the video, fans reposted the video on X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts – and think they know what the revelation was.
They claimed Selena was telling Taylor she had asked for a photo with the Wonka star but Kylie had refused.
During the exchange Keleigh could be heard loudly asking, “With Timothee?” which Selena then nodded to.
Timothee and Kylie had been sitting at another table at the venue.
Someone reposted two angles of the same video on X to share their opinions on what they thought had been said.
They captioned the post: “Some Golden Globes tea.
“’I asked for a picture with him and she (Kylie Jenner) said no” – Selena gomez.
“‘With Timothee?” *Selena nods*.'”
Fans continued to reply to the original Tweet with their own speculation.
Someone wrot: “Selena so real. Whenever something happens to me I’m running straight to my girls.”
Another added: “Selena messy, always running her mouth.”
“She was making sure to yell that loud so everyone could her her,” joked a third.
PAST DRAMA
Early last year, there seemed to be beef between Selena, Kylie, and Hailey Bieber, 27.
It all started in February when the two were trolling Selena and making fun of her eyebrows after Selena posted a TikTok of herself with overly laminated brows.
Kylie reportedly kicked off the social media feud when just shortly after Selena’s post, the Kylie Cosmetics founder shared a selfie on her Instagram Story and wrote over her eyebrows: “This was a mistake?”
At the same time, Kylie also shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Hailey which appeared to focus on the pair’s eyebrows.
However, both Selena and Kylie revealed that there was no such drama between the two.
Eventually, Selena released another statement on her Instagram Stories regarding all the hate Hailey was receiving.
WHAT SHE SAID
“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” the Rare Beauty founder said.
“This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying.
“I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
It appeared the pair called a truce after Selena followed Hailey on the above-mentioned platform.
Later on, Hailey responded: “I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I.
“The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful.
“Things can always be taken out of context or construed differently than they were intended.”
Hailey added: “In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion.”
TIMOTHEE SPEAKS OUT
The Hollywood actor was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills on Monday night and vaguely addressed the drama between Selena and Kylie.
When speaking with TMZ, he claimed that the alleged gossip was “BS” and that all was well between the two.
The outlet caught the star on the sidewalk with a friend and stopped him to speak about the Golden Globes.
They also addressed the rumored beef between his love interest and former co-star.
When asked if he and Selena are cool, Timothée said, “of course,” and if there’s any truth to Kylie “being a mean girl and snubbing Selena” he said, “no.”
