Dua Lipa’s new love interest revealed as Fantastic Beasts actor after LA date
SHE is one of the most eligible women in music and now the newly single Dua Lipa appears to have caught the eye of a very handsome British actor.
The Houdini singer was spotted having a slow dance with a gorgeous bloke that looked a lot like rising star Callum Turner during a secret party after the premiere of his new Apple TV miniseries, Masters Of The Air.
The show, which also stars Barry Keoghan and Austin Butler, had a starry premiere at the Regency Village Theatre in the city but Dua was only seen at the after-party at the Avra in Beverly Hills.
In a video circulating online, Dua was seen with her arms around Callum’s neck as they shared a private moment away from the party.
An onlooker added: “Dua and Callum seemed to be having an amazing time together.
“She had her arms draped around his neck in a quiet moment together before they went back into the party together.”
If Callum has managed to bag a date with Dua, he is one lucky man.
Not only has Dua become one of our country’s biggest music stars, she’s drop-dead gorgeous and absolutely lovely to boot.
The chart-topper recently split from French film director Romain Gavras.
Our Sunday Bizarre columnist Hannah Hope revealed how Dua and Romain called it quits last month as she geared up for her music comeback later this summer.
I was invited down to the launch of Dua’s new single Houdini by her team at the end of last year and I have to admit, I haven’t had the song out of my head since.
Dua was robbed of the No1 spot by Jack Harlow’s Lovin On Me, which knocked her down into second place, when she released Houdini in November.
But there is no doubt in my mind that when her third album comes out, she’ll be riding high at the top of the charts.
Tay me out, Blake
TAYLOR SWIFT and her pal Blake Lively showed they are both game for a laugh after heading out for pizza with US comedians Mike Birbiglia and Jerrod Carmichael.
Blake looked chic in a stripy jumper which she wore with a miniskirt and heels while Taylor took me back to Christmas party season in a green, velvet dress.
The foursome met up with Zoe Kravitz and Taylor’s long-time music producer Jack Antonoff at Lucali’s pizzeria in the Big Apple.
Taylor became friends with Jerrod after meeting him at some posh party a couple of years back.
And the chance meeting has helped Jerrod’s love life, after he admitted he uses a picture of himself and Taylor on his dating app profile.
He said: “You really want to excite the gays in New York City?
“Send a picture of you and Taylor Swift.”
Get a selfie with Cher, Jerrod, and you’ll have admirers queuing around the block.
Padam unlucky, Rita
IT was the song which last year gave Kylie Minogue her biggest hit in over a decade, and a Grammy nomination to boot.
But it turns out Padam Padam only came to her after it was turned down by other singers at the Aussie hitmaker’s label BMG, including Rita Ora.
Producer Lost Boy explained: “We wrote Padam in February 2022 and there were maybe four or five months of us sitting on it, then I sent it to their label and someone suggested to me, ‘Kylie would kill this’.”
But Lost Boy added: “They were unsure and there was a moment when Rita was going to cut it and it was worming around a few artists on that label.
“They were trying to make it work but they didn’t think it was for Kylie.”
Kylie then got her hands on the song, though, turned it into an anthem . . . which our Jack has been listening to on repeat ever since the day it came out.
Lost Boy added: “I was surprised at how confident she was that she could make it, that it would fit for her.
“But I think of her as someone who is so good at reinventing.
“It feels modern but it also feels like Kylie.”
It’s a full-circle moment for Kylie, after she turned down Britney Spears’ mega-hit Toxic, which came out in 2004.
Kylie is definitely the winner here but I’m sure Rita will be kicking herself.

The movie gave Barry the chance to live out his dream of flying planes.
And he needs to get used to flying high after Saltburn helped Barry’s acting career hit the big time.

SELENA GOMEZ is set to play singer Linda Ronstadt in a new biopic.
The movie is being made by James Keach, who previously worked on the Johnny Cash film Walk The Line, and is being produced by Linda’s manager John Boylan.
In a note on his website, he said Selena and Linda “recently spent a few hours at Linda’s home discussing the project and getting to know each other”.
The US star had a stellar career in the Seventies and Eighties with six platinum albums, and the hits Don’t Know Much and Somewhere Out There in the UK.

But surely to God there was a better way for Kate Moss’s half-sister Lottie to celebrate her 26th birthday than selling dirty pictures to admirers.
