Some of Love Island‘s most memorable stars have been given a second shot at love.
One of the hunky men who has returned to the villa is season seven star Jake Cornish.
However, things got off to a rocky start when he came face-to-face with his ex Liberty Poole.
He was also left awkwardly standing by himself after none of the girls chose to pick him to couple up with.
Thankfully for Jake the public decided the pairings in a format shake-up, but it didn’t go to plan.
Viewers chose to reunite him with Liberty, leaving the pair awkwardly sharing a hug after Maya announced the cringe news.
Fans now think Jake could leave the villa following his awkward return.
One said: “Anyone else feeling awkward for Jake.”
A second posted: “The voting British public have put Liberty and Jake together knowing full well how awful things were for her last time. You’re all clearly unwell.”
“Jake getting off to such a bad start #LoveIsland,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Jake is being coupled up with either his ex or his ex’s best mate he can’t win.”
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
