A CURVY model is turning heads after an interesting fashion choice.
She chose to wear a thong on top of her clothes for a recent post for Fashion Nova.
Plus size model Nao modeled the outfit for the brand’s Curve range on Instagram.
The racy thong over tights trend had been seen on celebrities such as Julia Fox, but shoppers weren’t quite sure what to think of the fashion choice.
Curvy model Nao, who had 345,000 followers on Instagram, wore the Like Magic Lace Thong Panty.
Available for $3.49 down from $4.99 on Fashion Nova, the panty came in pink, red, and black.
It was suitable for a range of body types and was available in sizes ranging from S to 3XL.
Nao paired the red thong with a pair of sheer black tights worn underneath, red heels, a black and white striped tank top, and heavy eye makeup.
Her hair was shiny and straight as she took mirror selfies in the outfit.
The post echoed the trend of celebrities wearing underwear over their outfits.
Julia Fox and Kylie Jenner have been seen participating in the look.
“I don’t do sexy: I am,” read the post’s caption.
However, many commenters weren’t quite sure about the styling decision.
“What look was being gone for?? Because although we love a good plus-size model on the curve page, we want actual style,” said one commenter.
“Why the thong over the tights? If you like the look, go for it! I just don’t get it,” said another.

Viewers were fans of Nao, but not so much of her outfit.
