A SELF-styled cupid has shared a trick that she says is the “best dating hack ever.”

The woman credits the hack with meeting her current boyfriend.

She said that it takes seconds to do and is very simple, but that people still get scared to try it.

Coco Schiffer (@cococoschiffer) is a talent manager and virtual stylist, and shares TikTok videos about her life.

In a recent viral clip, she revealed what she said is an incredibly effective way to meet people and break the ice.

“Do y’all want to know the best dating hack ever? Best dating tip? Best way to get dates?” Coco asked.

She said that the secret can be found in just one word: “Follow.”

The TikToker said that when she moved from Los Angeles to New York, she found it hard to meet people.

Her friends introduced her to potential dates and buddies, but rather than waiting for them to make a move, she took matters into her own hands.

“Instead of just waiting for them to make the introduction, I was like, ‘What’s their Instagram? Let me just follow them,’” she she.

“I was jamming that follow button on Instagram all day long.”

Coco admitted that following people she didn’t know felt “risky,” but she pressed ahead, saying “Just follow them!”

“I cannot tell you how many dates I went on and how many new friends I made just from putting myself out there,” she said.

The talent manager is a true believer in the method and said that you shouldn’t be embarrassed to try, even if someone doesn’t accept your follow request straight away.

“Eventually they’ll reach out, they’ll respond to a story,” she continued.

Schiffer happily admitted to meeting her current boyfriend using this method.

“I’ve met my incredible, better than ever, best thing that’s ever happened to me boyfriend that way,” she said.
