I used to be skinny but now I’m a plus-size queen – my body didn’t ‘bounce back’ after kids and that’s OK, I’m beautiful

SHE might have gained a few pounds, but one proud momma was realizing that there was just more of her to love.

The empowered mom was now embracing her curves and feeling more self-assured in her own skin than ever before.

“I used to be skinny too,” said Miranda (@_mirandamushroom).

She used her own post-baby body situation to parody a conversation that included a character from the DC comics team.

Over a recorded voice of Harley Quinn Miranda mouthed: “I used to be a doctor too.”

“Wow you really let yourself go,” read the caption as she looked down at her own body.

“You have lost yourself to madness,” said the male voice of Harley’s arch-nemesis in the background.

He could keep his opinions to himself because this momma bear was regaining her power – both inside and out.

“No, I had three kids in four years and my body didn’t bounce back.

“I fought my own battles with learning to love my body and now I’m a plus-size body positive advocate, helping women all over the world feel beautiful in their own skin. I am beautiful,” she said defiantly.

She channeled her inner Harley one more time.

“I changed career paths,” Miranda mouthed.

She knew that she was worthy of being bowed down to.

“Plus size queen,” said this messenger of body positivity.

Still, the shaming struggle was real as trolls still came after the newly empowered Miranda.

“Girls use having kids as an excuse after having kids – the belly goes down,” said one opinionated follower.

But her fans weren’t having it.

“And what do you know about that oh my gosh,” one viewer clapped back.

“That is not how the human body works,” yet another watcher agreed.

One philosophizing follower had a comment of her own: “Dad bods are glorified when mom bods are demonized.”

Her fan club also seemed to be growing.

“Don’t matter how fat you are or skinny you’re still beautiful,” said one impressed viewer.

“Don’t let anyone tell you different,” another agreed.

“You go girl,” said one enthused watcher.

According to lucieslist.com, protective measures to take in order to adjust to a post-baby body include having realistic expectations and focusing more on how you feel.

The blog also suggests changing up your wardrobe, partaking in mindfulness activities asking for help and ditching the scale.
