Full list of school closures as Storm Isha’s 100mph gales wreak havoc – check to see if you’re affected
SCHOOLS across the UK have closed as Storm Isha causes havoc across the country.
The Met Office has placed the entire country under a yellow weather warming for strong winds.
A rare red weather warning was in force for northern Scotland from 1am until 5am this morning – with forecasters predicting a “danger to life”.
Flood alerts and warnings have been issued due to the heavy rain, while strong winds have also caused problems overnight.
Storm Isha battered the UK with heavy rain and gusts of up to 99mph, leaving many parts of the country without power.
