I absolutely love Skims but my Amazon dupes come in a 3-pack for $40, they hug you in all the right places
A FASHIONISTA was thrilled to find a more affordable alternative to Skims.
As a Skims superfan, she knows well how the tops should fit and flatter your body, and she said these Amazon ones got the job done.
Fifty-year-old fashion and fitness fanatic Alicia E (@aliciae6) said she “absolutely loves Skims” and has ordered a number of garments from the brand.
“But, I can’t order everything Skims,” she admitted in the clip.
That’s why when she came across an Amazon dupe, which sells three long-sleeve tops for less than the price of one Skims one, she knew she had to give them a shot.
The best part is, for only $40, you can get a three-pack of the same colors that Skims sells: grey, cream, and black.
“There are other colors, but these are the ones I got because I’m such a neutral girly.”
She noted the stretchy, soft fabric that sucks you in while hugging your body.
Slipping into the grey option, Alicia praised the flattering fit.
“I’m wearing a small and it hugs in all the right places… so cute,” she said, styling it with baggy jeans and white New Balance sneakers.
The style queen loved the cream one just as much, adding that it was the perfect shade for cooler weather.
“You can stay warm in something that is super snug and fit.”
She paired it with her Ugg slippers, making for the perfect “lounging around the house” outfit.
And finally, she rocked the tried-and-true black option, dressing it up with black shiny booties, a puffer vest, and Louis Vuitton sunglasses.
“I feel like it’s very flattering, especially for blondes.”
In the caption, she said she “loved” the three-pack set, noting that the brand is “solid.”
