IF you have blue eyes then it may be time to ditch the black mascara.

A beauty fan has shared the makeup color she uses to make her eyes pop.

In her video, Avery Lou (@avery__lou) showed her followers how she highlights her blue eyes.

The TikToker revealed that her recommendation is ideal for anyone with blue eyes.

“PSA to the blue-eyed girlies, the best mascara now comes in brown,” Avery told her audience.

She showed her viewers the $29 Better Than Sex Chocolate Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara.

“Brown makes your blue pop and [looks] way more natural than black,” she explained.

Avery demonstrated the effect created by the product for her followers.

First, she removed the black mascara from her lashes and curled them in preparation.

She then added a single coat of the brown mascara to her upper and lower lashes.

“What other mascara will give you this kind of length with only one coat?” Avery asked her audience.

She gave her viewers a close-up look at her freshly-coated lashes.

“I love it but I hate that it flakes,” wrote one of Avery’s TikTok followers.

Celebrity makeup artist David Chinchilla spoke to InStyle about the benefits of wearing brown mascara.

“It is for a more natural look, especially for someone with blue or lighter eyes,” he explained.

The expert added that the color is particularly flattering “for lighter skin tones and blondes.”
