A SHOCKED tourist has been bitten by a Royal Horse Guard steed as she stood for a photo.

The woman was trying to get a classic London tourist photo – standing next to a Blues and Royals horse guard sitting on his mount.

The horse whips its head up and down with the woman’s jacket in her mouth

The horses are part of a mounted guard stationed outside the main entrance to Buckingham Palace.

But, this tourist was left red-faced after the equine decided to take a bite of her jacket.

The woman stands next to the soldier in a puffy black jacket with a green sweater on underneath it.

As she stands for her photo, the steed moves its head towards her and bites the jacket.

She reaches out to pat the horse before she releases the animal has started to move her arm up with its teeth.

The horse then yanks at the jacket, whipping its head to the side and up and down with the tourist struggling to get away.

The soldier on the horse just watches on.

She then manages to get free of the beast and walk back to her friends in a small crowd of people watching.

She’s left on the verge of tears and in a state of shock.

A passerby asks: “Is your coat all torn apart now?” to which she replies with a sheepish “Yes”.

The woman is left to clean off the horse’s saliva from her jacket with the help of a friend.

A sign hung on the wall next to the soldier says “BEWARE: Horses may kick or bite.

“Don’t touch the reins, Thank You.”

The King’s Guard are posted outside at Horse Guards Parade from 10am to 4pm each day.

Last year, a video was captured of another woman who had her ponytail bitten by a Blues and Royals Horse.

A similar clip was also caught of a horse biting at a woman’s jacket.

lt comes as one little boy was left thrilled when the King’s Guard broke protocol to greet him at St James’ Palace.

Soldier-obsessed Frank incredibly earned a nod from the deadpan troops after watching them in awe as they marched in unison.

And in another heartwarming video, a carer was left in tears after a King’s Guard gave way to the rules to pose for a photo with a man with Down’s Syndrome.

The tourist is then left on the verge of tears as she is comforted
