I bought a TikTok viral two-piece and it was giving me the ick – the packaging was bad but the smell was something else

A FASHION fan’s TikTok viral two-piece has been left feeling surprised when her purchase dropped into her post box.

But it was a surprise she would rather not have had.

This was a delivery that failed to live up to her expectations.

But she was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Despite her valiant efforts, however, it was giving her the ick.

It didn’t start well with the packaging, which was small and inconsequential.

But worse was to come for The Nichols and Dimes (@thenicholsanddimes).

She has 53,000 followers on her TikTok, where she shares her love of fashion and married life.

In this post, she shared with viewers her latest purchase.

“I did it again, I was so impressed. Don’t judge a book by its cover,” she said of the unpromising package in her hands.

“If the book is as good as the last book that I got, I’m going to be very impressed.”

There wasn’t much love evident when she finally got entry to the parcel.

The smell was something else and she screwed her face up when confronted with the vapors.

“I’ll always be honest,” she said of her online purchases. And she remained faithful to that promise.

“I have always told you I will be completely honest with the things that I get and this one right off the bat,” she trailed off.

“This material isn’t doing it for me. This and it smells.”

She was still willing to try it on, there was hope it might still work.

When she reappeared in the black casual two-piece, it was clear she was unmoved.

“It’s giving me the ick. Not my favorite. Honesty counts.

“This was not it for the TikTok shop. TikTokshop fails,” was her final estimation.
