Traitors show shake up as bosses add reunion special to BBC hit’s big finale
BOSSES are going all out for an epic finale on Friday – and have invited the entire cast back for a reunion special.
The final episode of the series on BBC One will see the remaining Faithfuls and Traitors have one last chance to suss each other out in order to take home the prize pot.
That will be followed by spin-off show Uncloaked on BBC Two, where host Ed Gamble will reunite the 22-strong hoard of players for the first time since they were murdered or banished.
It is expected to attract mass ratings.
A TV source said: “So far, Uncloaked has featured celebrity guests like Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Stacey Dooley, but bosses know the cast themselves are the big draw so are amping it up as a huge reunion special for Friday night.
“It means fans can sit down to a whopping 110 minutes of Traitors action – 70 for the main show and 40 for the spin-off.”
It comes as plans are unveiled for the finale, with the teams taking to the Scottish skies in a helicopter for the “bigger than ever missions”.
And host Claudia Winkleman will be dressed the part.
She said of the black fluffy coat she appears in: “I wear an outfit that is so nuts.
“I’ve never tried mushrooms but I imagine it feels like this.
“The outfit, the location and what was happening, and then it started raining.
“Imagine a sea monster meets Princess Anne and then they go to a golf sale.
“With a nod of Jane McDonald.”
