Sofia Richie announces she is pregnant with first child with husband Elliot Grainge
SOFIA Richie has announced she’s expecting her first child with her husband, Elliot Grainge, after months of fan speculation.
The model recently raised suspicions that she’s pregnant after fans noticed her seemingly trying to conceal a baby bump.
Sofia, 25, revealed that she is expecting her first child in an interview with Vogue.
In the interview, the star admitted, “I’ve learned more in the past six months than I have in my entire life.
“And also just like what the female body is capable of. Every week brings new things, whether it’s hormonal shifts or expansion—there’s just so much our bodies go through, and it’s so interesting to experience it all.”
Sofia also revealed that she is expecting a baby girl.
“She’s growing pretty fast, so [the due date] is a bit up in the air,” the star added.
Sofia and Elliot, 30, tied the knot in April 2023 in a lavish ceremony in Antibes, France.
HIDING SOMETHING?
Chatter began circulating late last year that Sofia was expecting after she was seen covering up in oversized clothing during numerous public outings.
One occurrence was when she wore a large camel-colored trench coat while shopping on Melrose Place in West Hollywood, California.
Hours earlier, Sofia drowned her figure in another heavy coat while meeting friends for dinner in Los Angeles.
The brown winter coat completely hid her frame, nearly draping down to her knees.
She again raised eyebrows with her attire the week before while running errands.
Sofia donned a loosely fitted chic red sweater tucked into black trousers and a big black coat that shielded her belly.
PREGNANCY RUMORS
Lionel Richie’s youngest daughter also got fans talking when she appeared to sport a baby bump at the Baby 2 Baby Gala she attended with her husband in November.
She wore a short, high-necked, bedazzled black dress with feathers at the bottom, but all fans could see was her supposed bump.
“She’s pregnant? I love this couple,” one person commented on a TikTok posted by the Hollywood Reporter.
“She’s pregnant?” questioned another.
“Yep, baby,” stated a third.
