Holly Willoughby apologises for swearing on Dancing on Ice live show
HOLLY Willoughby was forced to apologises live on-air for swearing on Dancing on Ice tonight.
The TV presenter was given a fright by her co-host Stephen Mulhern earlier on in the episode and may have let slip an expletive.
After being alerted to her mishap, Holly told audience members and viewers at home that she was sorry for any “naughty” language.
Issuing an apology, Holly awkwardly said: “A little bit earlier on Stephen made me jump and it may have sounded like a naughty word slipped out…I don’t think I did.
“But I am sorry if that’s what you thought you might have heard but that’s I don’t think I did.
“I’ll watch it back on ITV player because that’s where you can watch these things back.”
The red-faced star left the audience in hysterics as Stephen added: “Yes…I get the blame for everything at the moment.”
Many Dancing On Ice viewers were quick to pick up on the moment.
One wrote: “Holly realises ITV are so desperate to keep her she can ask for any money she wants and swear like a trouper. (Do troupers swear?) She doesnt care less any more.”
A second posted: “Swear Holly just called Stephen a f*****.”
A third commented: “*GASPS* Did Holly just swear when Stephen Mulhern shouted Boo to her?”
