EastEnders’ Karen Taylor makes bombshell return as she reveals shock news about son Keanu
EASTENDERS has revealed the iconic return of Karen Taylor just weeks after she fled Walford.
The launderette assistant – who is played by actress Lorraine Stanley in the BBC soap – made a shock return to Albert Square tonight to find out the truth about what happened to her son Keanu Taylor.
She walked straight into the lion’s den as she faced down Phil Mitchell – after stealing thousands from him – at the reopening of the Bridge Street cafe.
As new manager Bernie tried to play music for the opening, she accidentally played a voice note from Keanu where he said he was going to see her abroad.
But as Nish grabbed her phone, he demanded to know where Keanu was.
Bernie insisted she had no idea and then Phil chipped in with his own theory.
“He said it himself, didn’t he? He’s gone to see that scum mother of his,” Phil said as Karen appeared behind him.
“Who are you calling scum?” she thundered.
Karen added: “He was coming but he never arrived, did he?”
Phil told her: “You’ve got some front haven’t you? Showing up here.”
But Karen hit back: “What choice do I have? Someone has done something to him and I can’t sit back and just watch anymore.
“I need to know where is my son.”
Karen has no idea Keanu is dead and buried under the cafe floor having been knifed by Linda Carter.
She acted to save the life of Sharon Watts who Keanu was trying to strangle to take her son Albie away from him having revealed he isn’t his biological father.
But will Karen discover the truth?
