The upcoming season three of The 1% Club will feature double the number of episodes, going from eight to sixteen.
There will also be two Christmas specials planned for this year as well.
Series two of the Saturday night prime-time show launched ahead of the average for its schedule slot with 3.7 million viewers and a 31% audience viewership.
Speaking about the upcoming series, Lee said: “Once again, I am delighted to cause household arguments, as kids mock their parents for being not as bright as them.
“But grown-ups can stay out as late as we want, so we get the last laugh”.
At the National Television Awards last year, the hit ITV show produced by Magnum Media won Most Popular Quiz Game Show.
Dean Nabarro at Magnum Media added: “For all those people who still haven’t managed to get the 1% question right, the great news is there will be another 16 shows to prove you’ve got what it takes to be in The 1% Club.”
The first episode of the forthcoming season will be kicking on on February 17 on ITV1 and ITVX.
Last year, during the Christmas special, contestants on the show left Lee blushing with their cheeky response to a Christmas picture round.
The Christmas special saw the comedian preside over festive-themed questions, which got progressively more challenging.
The 80% question was: “Which of these images rhymes with the ninth word of the chorus of ‘Jingle bells’.
The contestants were then shown a kite, a red bow and a cockerel.
Explaining his answer, Richard told Lee: “Well, I was swayed by the willies, so I put c**k.”
Looking surprised, Lee replied: “Wow… Merry Christmas!”
The format of the hit series has already been licensed in six territories, including France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Israel, and Australia.
The 1% Club is back on February 17 on ITV and ITVX.
