A woman has shared how she transformed her shabby and rundown council estate into a home that people say is “absolutely beautiful”.

The TikToker often uses the account to share tips on how to turn your council house into a home.
Her videos are popular with social media users and she has racked up 13,000 followers on the video sharing platform.
When Jordanna first moved into her house, it was an absolute state, with bare floorboards and paint peeling off the walls.
Jordanna got to work straight away, painting the walls, pulling up the carpets and installing wood flooring.
On the stairs, she ripped off the old carpet and replaced it with a stylish grey one from Amazon, embedding tiny spotlights into the stairs.

Her hallway is decorated with an elegant chandelier, a round mirror and a modern looking plant stand from Matalan.
For her bedroom, she has gone for a sleek black look, with a black painted radiator, a black headboard and all black bedding.
In the bathroom, Jordanna has added some quirky plant painting and in the dining room, she has invested in some green chairs from Amazon and a gorgeous hanging light fixture.
Jordanna’s video has clearly left many impressed, as it has racked up over 400,000 views.
TikTok users raced to the videos’ comments section to share their thoughts on Jordanna’s renovation.
One user said: “Amazing. May this home be filled with lots of laughter and warmth.”
Another user said: “Wow you’re amazing , you should be so proud of yourself. Girl power“
A third user remarked: “Absolutely stunning. I’d love you to do mine”.
A fourth user added: “That’s not a council house, that’s the Queen‘s Palace.”
Council tenants are allowed to make alterations and renovations to their homes.
However, they must make sure that any work conforms to building regulations and planning permission.
Council houses are provided by local authorities to those in need.
They are often cheaper than renting private housing and can also offer greater security from eviction.
Council houses are allocated to prospective tenants via a points based system, with those in greater need given homes first.
