The customers were appalled to learn that the cost of scrambled eggs on toast might set them back a whopping £58.

The breakfast dish costs £36 a serving but the price rises even further to £58 if adding white truffle.

White truffles are known to be an extravagant food with one of the highest price tags.

The expensive fungi are difficult to grow and take years to cultivate, making them scarce and valuable.

But customers’ opinions are divided on the lavish dish.

One person wrote: “The dishes were basic, lacking a notable wow factor.

“Simply adding truffle to bread doesn’t automatically elevate one to the status of a chef.

“Overall, while we gave it a try, we weren’t entirely convinced by our experience.

“Furthermore, the pricing was exceptionally high without any apparent justification.”

Another reviewer added that the dish was “tasteless” and she “couldn’t even smell [the truffle]”.

But while some guests were baffled by the bill, others have been left impressed and pleased with the breakfast dish.

A different customer disagreed, saying: “It’s worth every bite and they really are not shy with the truffle like other London restaurants.”

Another visitor said that the meal was “a must-try” with someone else adding: “Food on the pricey side, but you pay for the experience.”

The high-end restaurant’s breakfast menu features Beluga caviar starting £190, avocado toasts for £20, and teas for £16.

A Salt Bae restaurant was also slammed for eye-watering bill including £100 fruit and a £360 steak.

Celebrity chef and restaurateur Salt Bae has been under fire for his unrealistic food prices that cost diners a staggering £85,000 for a single meal.

The internet famous chef has reduced prices at his London restaurant in a massive U-turn after a backlash over its high costs.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi’s new Salt Bae-style establishment has been blasted by diners over its extortionate prices.

Footy supporters have slammed the star for charging £18.30 for a plate of macaroni.

In other news, a horrified Brit couple said they were ripped off at a holiday restaurant after they were slammed with a £116 bill for just five king prawns.

Dean Cadywould, 55, and his wife Kerry, 47, had their romantic meal in Lanzarote ruined as they were charged more than £20 per critter.
