A BEAUTY guru with a resemblance to Kim Kardashian revealed her trick to stop your eyes from watering.
Her “superior” hack costs less than $2 and she doesn’t leave the house without doing it.
TikToker Sonya Sed (@sonyased5) shares her makeup tips and routines online.
“This trick… It’s superior and it works,” she captioned her post.
Sonya puts petroleum jelly on a cotton swap and then rubs the inside of her eyes after her makeup is on.
“Saw a video of a girl putting Vaseline in the corner of her eyes before leaving the house to stop the eyes from watering,” she said.
“It’s the best thing TikTok has taught me,” Sonya added.
Vaseline can be purchased at most drug stores and Target for $1.79.
Sonya is often compared to Kardashian, with someone in the comments usually remarking on the similarity.
“Kim Kardashian is that you?” reads the most popular response.
“I thought this was Kim K for a sec,” a second wrote.
While people said Sonya looked like the reality star, others were dubious about the hack.
They warned that putting Vaseline on the tear duct could cause milia, tiny white bumps, or cause breakouts.
“You’re just clogging your pores and creating milia,” one wrote.
Some other people said the best way to get rid of watery eyes is to place a warm compress over your lids.
“When your eyes water, it means you have an oil buildup. Put a hot washcloth on your eyes for 10 minutes in the morning. It will stop it,” he or she said.
Excessive watery eyes are known as epiphora, per Eye Care Associates.
There are many ways to reduce the issue.
You can use over-the-counter eye drops, a warm compress, or take allergy medicine or medicated eye drops if your doctor determines you need them.
