A SKINCARE influencer has shared a two-ingredient face mask recipe for “glass skin.”
The DIY beauty treatment requires just a few ingredients most people would already have at home.
The expert (@glassskinsecret) shared the recipe in a TikTok video with over 800,000 followers.
She showed off her glowy and even skin tone thanks to the simple treatment.
“Best anti-aging face pack,” she said.
Starting with an egg, she separated the yolk and whites, setting the whites aside.
To the egg yolk, she added a tablespoon of milk and mixed well.
Cutting a slice of lemon, she added freshly squeezed juice and combined it with the yolk and milk.
She recommended applying the mask three times a week for 20 minutes for best results.
To prevent damaging the skin barrier, she also warned viewers to stay away from sunlight while having the mask on.
“It’s harmful if you are under sunlight,” she said.
“Otherwise indoors you can apply [it] anytime for 15 to 20 minutes then remove.”
For those with oily skin, she recommended substituting ingredients for alternatives that would work better.
“Replace milk with aloe vera gel,” she suggested to a commenter with oily skin.
