I’m a size 16 Victoria’s Secret model – posing in lingerie made me confident, my tummy rolls and cellulite are beautiful
A BODY positive Victoria Secret’s model showed off her curves and her confidence.
The size 16 model said that she wished she could show her younger self how far they’d come.
Sophie Hughes (@sophwithlove) shared photos of her sporting Victoria’s Secret lingerie in an Instagram post.
Tying up her pink hair, the midsize model rocked a blue slip dress with purple lace and a similar green style with white details.
She sat on her kitchen countertop, beaming widely, as she lounged comfortably in a polka-dotted pink two-piece that didn’t hide her stomach or thighs.
“In my soft girl era,” Sophie wrote.
“I wish I could go back and show 15-year-old Soph these photos, I wish I could show her how far we’ve come, shooting for Victoria’s Secret UK feeling more confident than ever before in a size 16 body.
“It would bring her so much peace.”
Instead, Sophie was more than happy to share her body acceptance journey with other women who may need to hear the message.
“Instead I show you guys. Because I can’t help her heal but I can help you,” she said.
“I can show you that all bodies deserve to take up space, that tummy rolls, scars, cellulite, it’s all so normal.
“It’s all so beautiful, and you don’t need to keep yourself small.”
Her followers thanked her for being genuine and beautiful inside and out.
