I was on The Apprentice – the tasks are fixed to create chaos and candidates are banned from speaking up about it
THE Apprentice former candidate Ryan-Mark Parsons has opened up on the secrets from the BBC show including how show bosses ‘fix’ tasks to ensure maximum chaos.
Ryan-Mark revealed the tasks are ‘fixed’ and candidates are banned from speaking up about it when confronted by Lord Alan Sugar in the board room.
Ryan-Mark rose to fame on the show in 2019[/caption]Ryan-Mark told the podcast Showbiz Unfiltered: “There is a lot of producing involved. For example in every single task – and this is something the viewers don’t see – before we even get started, off-camera we read a dossier and that says all of the things we can do and all the things we can do.
“For example, if we the task is about creating a logo, it might say you can only use the colours green and orange.
“So then that’s it, that’s our choice.
“If Lord Sugar scrutinises us over the colours, we can’t say we were given the colours because it was off-camera.
“They find ways to make it harder.”
He added: “It’s all fair, it’s a BBC competition, it has to be fair. Everyone gets limitations, but when the public are watching and they’re thinking ‘why would they choose green’ they don’t realise that we’ve been told that we can’t do X, Y and Z.
“There’s a lot of stuff they don’t see at home.”
The BBC has been approached for comment.
Ryan-Mark became the youngest contestant ever when he signed up to take part in the BBC reality hit.
Aged just 19 at the time, his appearance on the show quickly went viral with countless memes of the star cropping up online.
Lord Sugar is currently back in the boardroom with a new set of candidates fighting it out to win his £250,000 investment.
The Sun revealed how the next episode of the series will see the girls team taking a car crash turn.
Chaos ensures on a task to create mini-cheesecakes and a mix-up over numbers sees the task become a disaster.
