One woman may have found the answer.
Shan shared her hair regrowth hack via a video posted to her TikTok channel @shopwithshanx.
She often uses the account to find and review the latest deals on everything from makeup to skincare products.
Her videos are very popular with social media users and she has racked up over 70,000 followers on the video sharing platform.
Shan shared a picture of what her hair had looked like five months prior to making the video.
On the top of her head, her hair was extremely thin and there were large bald patches.
She said: “This was my hair five months ago, my hair was very thin and there was barely anything there.
“I had a receding hairline”.
To try and combat her hair loss, Shan decided to use Rosemary Oil.
Rosemary has been used for in cooking and for its medicinal properties for hundreds of years.
Rosemary oil has been proven to stimulate hair growth and improve the thickness of hair.
Whats, more, it’s super cheap, and can be purchased online for as little as £3.
Shan rubs the oil into her hair two to three times a week, leaves it in overnight and washes it out in the morning.
After just a month, Shan’s hair had already started to grow back and after two months, it was almost back to normal.
“It actually works.
“We got growth”, she said.
Shan’s locks are now looking shiny and healthy and her bald spots have gone.
She added that as well has helping to regrow her hair, the Rosemary Oil has also caused her existing hair to grow three inches.

Shan’s video has clearly left many impressed, as it has racked up an impressive 5.2 million views.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on Shan’s hack.
