‘I gasped!’ exclaim stunned EastEnders fans as The Six come to blows in vicious brawl
EASTENDERS fans were left gasping in shock as two members of The Six came to blows in a vicious pub brawl.
Tonight’s episode of the BBC soap saw Linda Carter tell mum Elaine she was going to get sober after weeks of boozing.
Linda has been struggling in the aftermath of Christmas Day, which saw her kill Keanu Taylor in a bid to save best friend Sharon Watts.
Elaine has no idea why her daughter has hit the bottle again, but her boozing has left the other members of The Six highly concerned that she’s going to grass them all up.
Later in the episode, Linda was visited upstairs in the pub by Kathy Beale, who has been keeping an eye on her in recent days after Keanu’s mum Karen Taylor made a surprise return to the Square.
Linda tried to act sober but Kathy saw right through it and the women started to argue.
The clash continued downstairs in the main bar area, with the women failing to lower their voices despite their desire to keep what they did a secret.
As Linda blamed Sharon for what ultimately happened, a furious Kathy asked: “Oh so this is all Sharon’s fault is it?
“So how come the other day you were beside yourself because of what you did? Yes Linda, you were the one who killed Keanu. You!”
Linda’s eyes bulged and suddenly she lashed out and slapped Kathy across the face.
But seconds later, Linda was even more horrified to discover Lauren Branning was stood behind them with Linda’s daughter Annie saying her name.
EastEnders viewers were also shocked at the public brawl, and took to X – formerly Twitter – to discuss.
One wrote: “Linda hitting her mother like that. I audibly GASPED.”
Another added: “not my two favs fightin. kathy was harsh in that scene though, Linda ate (still love ar mother Kath ofc).”
A third tweeted: “why are kathy and linda literally shouting in the middle of the vic about killing keanu? these women wouldn’t know discretion if it slapped them in the face.”
Meanwhile a fourth commented: “THAT KATHY AND LINDA SCENE!!! [shocked face emojis] Kellie and Gillian served and then some!”
