I made 2 Dollar Tree vases look so luxe with an easy DIY – you can get the extra bit at Target or Walmart
A SAVVY shopper turned her basic Dollar Tree buys into something out of a design catalogue.
The one-step DIY is perfect for budget decorating.
Crafty home décor lover Eryn (@everythingeryn) often shares her affordable styling hacks and tasteful makeovers on TikTok.
She consistently proves that filling a home with pretty things doesn’t have to break the bank.
If you’re looking to elevate a mantel or coffee table, you only need to stop by Dollar Tree and Walmart.
“Luxe for less. Modern vase DIY,” she began in the clip, revealing that she only paid $1 for each of the two vases she bought from Dollar Tree.
While the vases were clear glass and a simple, classic shape, Eryn wanted something more upscale.
She bought Charcoal Rust-Oleum Ultra Matte Spray Paint, which costs $10 at Walmart and Target, and got to work painting her pieces.
When they were covered and dry, their matte finish gave them the appearance of pricey accent vases.
She placed them on a tray over her marble TV console, which pulled the whole look together.
Viewers praised the hack.
“Yes girl!!! You’ve been SNAPPING with the décor,” one wrote.
“Yasss! I’m DIYing everything and I’m about to save so much money,” added another.
“They look so chic! Great job,” a third said, with a fourth echoing, “Wow. I’d never think these vases were from the Dollar Tree.”
