Travel chaos after horror four-vehicle pile-up shuts M4 causing one-hour queues

THE M4 has been closed westbound near Bristol following a serious incident.

National Highways is advising drivers that the M4 is closed westbound between junction 19 and junction 20 following a serious incident.

The collision which occurred at 12.56pm this afternoon involved four vehicles.

Emergency services are on the scene.
