The Masked Singer fans in shock as Air Fryer revealed as major Hollywood star
MASKED Singer fans were left stunned during the semi-final as Air Fryer was revealed to be an actress who previously starred in the Greatest Showman.
After an energetic performance of Anastacia‘s hit I’m Outta Love during Saturday night’s Masked Singer, Air Fryer received the fewest audience votes and was unmasked.
And the judges and fans at home were floored when it turned out to be Hollywood actress Keala Settle.
Keala, 48, has starred in huge movies including 2017 hit The Greatest Showman.
Fans rushed to social media after the reveal to have their say, with one writing: “I truly thought Air Fryer could have won it.”
Another said: “Yes! Got Air Fryer right, said it from the beginning!”
And a third added: “Shocked! Air Fryer was Keala Settle from Greatest Showman, I never would have guessed.”
Last week Maypole was revealed to be Pussycat Doll singer Melody Thornton.
During the same episode Dippy Egg was unmasked as Long Lost Family host Nicky Campbell.
Other famous faces who took part in the current series include Lorraine Kelly – who performed as Owl – and Julia Sawalha who was unmasked as Bubble Tea.
Shirley Ballas was previously revealed to be Rat while Alexander Armstrong performed as Chicken Caesar.
And iconic singer Dionne Warwick was the first celebrity unmasked after she was revealed to be behind Weather.
Fans were previously left convinced a former Coronation Street star was behind Air Fryer.
One previously wrote on social media: “Think this could be Wendi Peters. Thought it was Keala Settle until the “sister act” clue…I’m sure she’s joining the cast of Sister act in the West End. Hope I’m right, she’s an amazing actress & singer.”
